Question 2: Have you considered the living conditions you will experience during the remodel?
Remodels range in the amount of time they take depending on what the job entails and it is good to be prepared for the living conditions you might face. For example if you are remodeling your kitchen and your estimated job timeline is 3 months it is safe to say you will need a backup to your primary cooking method unless you want to be eating take out every night. Purchasing a small counter convection oven can help keep your family eating your wonderful meals without interruption. Other jobs can be so large scale that clients decide it’s best to live in a hotel until the renovations have finalized. Understanding these situations and being properly prepared for them can make all the difference in your experience with your remodel.
If you have reached these two steps thoughtfully then I believe you have reached a point where gathering estimates and moving forward is a definate YES! Good luck on your remodel journey!
